Quite a few years ago, I treated the tank on my FFPW to the Hirsch process. I followed directions to the letter. A few years ago the Hirsch coating started to peel off. Large sheets were grabbed by my fuel pickup rendering me dead on the side of the road. With that experience behind me, I never would use a home coating again. I feel the Renu process is well worth the money and its guaranteed for life.
