Paul said the parts were carefully selected, and they were just steel (unlike the honeycomb radiators somebody here had stolen a couple years ago), so I'm thinking they weren't scrapped. Maybe stolen to order, or on ebay? Might be somebody who'd been poking around the yard earlier in daylight?
As for the tweakers, all I wish is that they'd start right out stealing live power lines instead of waiting a couple years to build up enough courage and desperation. I came real close to catching the tweakers who stole all my old truck and bus batteries year ago. Got a call from the scrap yard when they were there, but the punks got away.
Main reason I'd like to see all drugs legalized is so these idiots could kill themselves quickly without bothering the rest of us. I know drugs are bad for you. I don't care. If you want to poison yourself, go right ahead.
