a buddy is working on a 1960 model Chrysler product with push button 727. when you start it in neutral it is already in gear. is there an adjustment of some kind? another thing he found was that the lever for the kick down is not connected and was pushed all the way forward. He thought maybe it was causing too much fluid pressure in the system making is not shift into neutral. he has not test driven it since he moved the lever back to regular position.
