what size tire does your manual show ?
my books show w100 with 6.50-16 tires on
split rims and w200s with 7.17.5 ?
as for 235 or whatever you need to go online
to the tire mfgs site and see what wheels are
approved for the tire size
just because someone tells you that xxx will fit with no problems does not make it correct
