I agree with the concerns on drain placement. Put a trough style drain near both over head doors (about 2' in from the threshold) and grade the floor toward the drains. I personally like having a wash room in my shop. I even aded a shower in case I have to wash off, which has happened to me when I got an oil bath. It also came in handy when I remodeled my house bathroom. Most of all it keeps me from tracking stuff into my house.
A luxury I would like to have in a shop is some sort of over head crane. A gantry would be the best, but a Jib is better than none at all. Makes lifting steel easy as well as engines, cabs, etc. Depending on where you live air conditioning is nice to have on those hot sweltering August days.
