I would not have believed it until the Michelins on our motor coach had problems
32k about 7 years old or so my wife took a trip to SO cal (we lived in LV at the time)
I checked all the tires before she left when
she got back 4 had splits at the bead area
Michelin did give us a pro-rated replacement
all 9 tires including the new spare with the
tag still in place and it had been in one of
the bins all the time never out in the light
contact michelin tech department and they will explain the issue to you. and it is not
just a michelin issue.
ps had 2 michelins fail on our other motor coach bride had one fail on the way back from AZ and when she parked it in front of the house about an hour later the casing blew on
another one sounded like an HE
