Hi Dave. With all due respect to the date code thing, and to the tire world and those with far more knowledge than me on the subject, (I hope I don't start something here), but I bought the Michelin 1400R20s for my W500 along with the custom built beadlocks from now defunct USA6X6 at least 5 years prior to trading my truck a year ago. I know they were military takeoffs then, so who knows what the date code would have been. The tires, at the present rate of usage, will not be worn out in the next 20 years.
I sure wish someone was building wheels and selling them with tires for what I paid for that set. The price was phenomenal, altho the company's communication skills were practically nonexistent.
