since it will cost me plus or minus $5000 to ship my trucks to c.r. I am considering driving them. my son and I rented a car a few years back when I was visiting my folks in Wisconsin we drove from Madeline Island on lake Superior to Chicago and back and took all farm roads. to say the least both Ben and I had a great time seeing the real good ole usa and we both would like to do it again but in another area of the country, so I suggested jokinglyto Ben who is in Denmard now as an exchange student that he could come with me and we would drive from N. Cal. to C.R. and he jumped at the idea. Which got me thinking---what the heck. Which means I would want to rebuild one motor and make sure everthing else worked and drive down with the others piggy back. Question is who in Cal. could help me out with the rebuild etc. We would take all back roads as we probably could not go faster than 45 Any suggestions
Canīt be any more dangerous than it was bak in the day------lol
