Its not really a case of Google spying on your computer. Your older browser version is not supported to view certain things within the website your trying to view. You may think your seeing all the content on a website but in fact you might be surprised your only seeing part of what is really there and trying to load up. The message you get is a default message letting you know that your browser is not fully supported for whatever your trying to view. This is why some websites may not look right to you, like they loaded bad or crashed during loading as you tried to view them. Eventually you may not be able to view certain webpages at all. It is only because the internet, web design, etc, are constantly evolving. So it only makes sense that an old obsolete browser is not going to show all the images and web content correctly. This old power wagon forum design is an exception. If your only going to view this forum and do simple email, and internet searches you are probably fine staying with the old browser, at least for now. But eventually you may only be able to view this old forum since the internet is constantly evolving. It is neat that you can still use this forum easily with a computer that is 10 years old or older, with old browers, and a simple dial up connection. But I am sure Joe has taken all this into account and sees no reason to change it. Hopefully it don't change. I like the nostalgia of it, and if your using a old computer it might not be able to run the new browsers smoothly anyways, so your better off staying with the old browser for doing simple tasks like reading and posting on this forum.
