Hey Will, at some point everything changes. I am not at all happy with what the new Chrysler thing has become. It's almost to the point where I don't even care what they do any more. It's ashame, but again, everything changes eventually (except Seagrave, but even then????) Just like Studebaker went away eventually, and Plymouth, and International became Navistar, and the Power Wagon was discontinued, etc.....there is absolutly nothing we can do about it. Unless the entire country wants to invest in itself like they did back in the war time eforts, we are doomed to the constant change of it all, in every aspect. I think I am beginning to understand why some of the older guys that have led me through stopped picking up on anything new at a given point. They are set in their ways and there is no changing their mind, no matter what. Believe me, I am experiencing that now with the builder of my 440 for one of the cars. I would never disagree with how he is going about it, and I know better than to question what he isw doing. I just know it will be very right in the end as it would have been back in his day. As far as he is concerned, Chrysler died back in the mid 70's. I don't believe that for a minute, but I see why he can feel that way. So, in the mean time of this extended post, I am witnessing younger guys taking Nissans and Toyotas to the local drag strips, running their cars in the 10's on almost street fuel, and then driving them home and to work for the rest of the week. We never went to the track without a trailer, regardless of the Mopar factor. This is a big change that we can either deal with or ignore, it's up to the individual. I choose to ignore, because I am set in my ways that the great things Chrysler created a long time ago are the best ever. Oh my God, are the elders rubbing off on me? I certainly hope so.....By the way...great job on your trucks! Keep up the good work! Hopefully soon I will be back into the swing of Power Wagons again, your work is inspiring!
