The nv4500 transmissions that were in the diesels after 93 and the gas 3/4 from 92 and on have an option for a pto. Another option is to drive the pto off the transfer case of a np205 like I am doing. The plus of doing it off the transfer case is you get 4 to 5 speeds on the winch by using the transmission gears. You just have to be careful spinning the winch too fast and heating it up.
