Reminds me of a situation I recently had trying to return a router and modem (that I did not request)to AT&T. The person I was dealing with said I had to deliver it to a UPS store which is a 45 minute drive each way for me. Called UPS store and was told "we can only accept AT&T television hardware for shipment, not internet hardware." That person was supposedly reading that from a UPS memo. I called AT&T again and requested a shipping label for home pickup and the man said OK. I then asked about returning through USPS. The reply, "WE only ship through UPS." When the label arrived it was for the USPS. I carried the package to the local Post Office and that was that. A friend and I have determined the root cause and in most cases the complete reason for such as this. THE INEPTNESS IS UNIVERSAL!
