We like PWs because they were tough , well thought out , easy to repair , no compromise machines . There was a certain honesty about the whole truck and it's construction . Those early PWs were not dressed up to look good a missrepresent what they were capable of . Kind of what we were all told the American dream was about . Work hard , be kind , be honest and you will get there and the whole nation will help you too because after all it is the hard working folks that make up the foundation of what the American dream stands for .
You want to know were things went wrong , besides the corrupt government ? Look up the word REHYPOTHECATION and see how MF global used that to raid private and public investors accounts . It would take hours to explain but such activities are why things are in such a mess . They lost the dream , tossed it out actually and will be back to do it to you some more .
They are not PW honest . You need and expect to get a PW but instead you have the little plastic toy that came in the cracker jacks box .
