Hi Rob. Nice looking truck and great idea for the project. That should smooth out some of the little grades in your area. Unless they have built new roads, it seems there was a pretty good little hill out of SLO. I would like to see how it goes for you, since I have the idea of doing the same thing to my '68.
I have an early '98, last of the 12v, that I plow snow with. Besides adding gauges and building up the auto to plow snow, the only addition I have made is a fuel plate. The one I got is designed to give more low end power, for pushing snow. It really added to the acceleration from 0 to 60. You can get one designed for just about any speed range you want. Keep us posted on the project. JH
