Yes I remember, my first trip down here before I got pw fever we drove a 57 chevy panel truck from Houston to Panama. We met a fellow stationed in the military there who offered to buy the chevy. When we went into the base I saw lots of military trucks and I assume some were m37s and I thought they were pretty cool We sold the chevy to a fellow stationed at the base there, the two fellows with me bought tickets to Peru and I accepted his Honda 750 and headed back to Tex. A hair raising ride to say the least. First I had to clean the oil off the plugs about every 200 miles. Then when I got almost to the border of C.R., and Nicargua my front tire blew at about 60mph, some how I wrestled her to almost a stop and she threw me off into the ditch, barely a scratch. Well I fixed the tire and headed north again. About 50 miles into Nic. territory I checked my rear view mirror and low and behold there was a black cadillac with tinted and or bullet proof windows behind me. I said what the &^%$ to myself, next thing I noticed it started to pass me, when it got up along side of me I noticed it was a limo, and it just stayed with me, again I said to myself holy guacamole what now, just them the window came down and a guy in military garb yelled at me and said do you want to sell that motorcycle and I yelled back YYEESSS!!! and he proceded to pass me and wave me on to follow him. He exited the main road and I followed him into this huge concrete walled gate that opened automatically(at this point I was not sure what I had got myself into) but I followed, the road forked off to the right I could see what resembled a giant mansion of some sort and he took the left fork to what is basically called a rancho. Turns out he was one of Anastasia Samoza's body guards and that was Somoza's ranch. He paid me and drove me to the airport and I was quite relieved to be on a flight back to Tex.

The m37s are cool, but I like the wms better, because of their looks, longer wheel base and longer production. I do like the m37 frames better though especially the ambulances, they are all a tad thicker than the civilian.

I am hoping there are some wms, and or wdxs still around but could be slim pickins as the scrapers are cleaning out C. R. and I assume also Panamaal, however can't wait to go on a pw safari to Panama
