I have been looking at where the items I buy were produced for decades now, ever since I was studying for my BS in Industrial Technology in the '80s/'90s. As I think everyone should be of their own country, I want made here(USA) first, but I also realize that no nation stands alone in this world and thus I kind of have a mental list of preference that starts with USA but does not end there.
On that note, the two coats I wear more than all others combined were both made in Canada and I think that's good. Support your neighbor. One is a wool coat and the other is waxed cotton. I suppose my love for older tech doesn't stop at trucks.
