That happened to my wife. Some "hunters" caught her on our place and confronted her about trespassing and claimed they owned every thing as far as you could see. Trouble was they had it backwards. I loved her answer to them. She said " Seems to me that the last time we paid the property taxes our name was on the paperwork." She said they sheepishly walked away.
