leave the body as is and the rear axle with the duals and put the pw front axle up front, as you say the overall diameter of the tires are the same and if the it has a 5.7 or so it might work, and it would still look factory unless you measured the lug pattern, given you have duals on the rear you could probably get away with a spare just for the front axle.
