I had that happen to my TW recently. There was a slide bar inside that had broken off and no amount of coaxing would get the door open. I ended up with a Sawzall cutting through the star wheel and bracket to get it open. I cut right against the door itself slowly all the way through. I only know rebuilt latches by John Giedl for replacements other than used of course.
