Sometimes the pin isnt really a pin, but a setscrew. I took one apart last week that looked just like the one in the pic, and it had 2 small allen headed setscrews. Sometimes the head gets filled up with road dust and it looks like a pin.
I have also seen them with pins. Hold something heavy like a 2 pound hammer behind it like a buck (but not in front of the pin exit hole) and drive it out. Probably easier to get a hel;per for that.
