I searched the SKF web site and there was no mention of the 12723 seal, so apparently it is obsolete and out of stock.

The dimensions of the 12723 seal were 32X48X5mm as listed on the box. (Note: The dimensions are approximate and probably rounded off to simplify identification).

I did find the SKF 12724 seal. It is similar to the 12723 seal, but the outside dimension is even a little smaller: ID Inches--1.26, ID MM--32, OD Inches--1.859, OD MM--47.23, Product Material--Nitrile, Width Inches--0.236, Width MM--6

I measured the outside diameter of the 12723 seal as 1.898 inches. So, the 12724 seal is significantly smaller (1.859"), especially since the bigger 12723 seal was somewhat loose already. But, if no closer alternative is available, maybe a sleeve or some other method can be used to hold the seal in place.
