Thanks, John. Do you recall if this seal was a good fit for both the shaft and the housing, or was it perhaps a loose fit in the housing, as was mentioned by GMHarris in his post?

If it was a loose fit in the housing, what did you do to make it fit better?

I wonder if this is the same seal as the SKF number in my original post, just made by a different manufacturer?
