I like the idea of the flat strap. I stopped at NAPA and they had two types. One had a battery terminal connector on one end with a hole on the other end. The other had a hole on each end. I think going from the battery to the engine with one and from the engine to the frame with the other is the solution. I will try that when I get the truck back to my shop.
