One of the bolts for the gen bracket is a stud that gets the ground cable.

On a trip to the junk yard, I got a couple of the flat braided ground straps for that O.E. look.

I don't think I actually grounded the bed, but I did use some heavy truck take-off tail lights that had a ground wire in the harness, so incorporating a ground into the harness for tail lights and gas tank was easy. I do add a ground tab to the SS gas tanks I make. I also add a ground circuit to the headlight/signal light system. Easy to do when making your own harness.
