My buddy and I talked about this a few months ago. The interest and high prices on the old muscle cars has diminished significantly over the past few years. Likely due to the economy, but also because everyone these days has a truck or SUV.

We think folks are starting to identify more with the old trucks due to this and because you can pick them up cheaper than the Vettes and old Camaros, Mustangs, etc.

Power Wagons are definitely the most recognizable old truck ever made and people are harkening back to the simpler days when these trucks were the workhorses. Seems like a natural progression that more people are looking to the Power Wagon as a collectible and a somewhat return to the old days.

I know I experience that every time I drive my truck. I get more thumbs up, more folks honking and more people stopping me to ask about the truck. I had a 61 Corvette show car about 15 years ago that didn't get half the attention when I drove it compared to my 61 WM300.

I think we will continue to see an escalation in interest over the next few years that will result in higher resale and demand for our trucks. That will have good and perhaps not so good consequences for our PW community.
