As for made in the USA, I just got a new creeper, and broke down and got the Bone, yes it's made in the USA and is amazing. They only problems, it rolls way too easy, and the rubber head rest grabs my hair.
"dead cylinder", sounds like a bad injector, good luck. I just had to put new rear brakes on my DRW 3500, seems 89K miles with all the towing is a little hard on them.
