any of the specs shown will work. the flathead is not that sensitive like overhead valve trains. I set all mine at .010 and .012 int./exh. cold and then run it for 500 mile or an equivalent amoutn of hours if off highway alot, then re-adjust warm to same spec. they don't expand as much as overhead valve trains do.
