just go with 10.50 x 16s or 11.00 x 16s and cruise 55+ with the 265, windshiled down, shades on, and tooth pick to remove the bugs from your teeth when you get to town. if you have never had an open cab then you should be surprised how much more quiet they are than closed cabs. pretty much a non issue. Tires is the least expensive and least time consuming way to go faster. I know a guy who did run a backwards Tcase he took out of a WW2 GMC 6x6. he saie the noise was enough to drive anyone to the loony bin. they are just not designed to run that way.
