I have never been the subject of a forum before! How exciting!! My father was pretty abrasive guy- it rubs off- and I know the feeling. There are no hard feelings here. I really enjoy this forum and the people here. Glen has had dirty diapers about my operation for some time. I envited him over last year to see the shop, but he never made it. Oh well, resentment is a cool form of flattery! I have made a career of auto restoration, and it means a lot to me to be working with some of the finest vehicles on earth. The Legacy Power Wagon conversion is an interesting platform, it is an expression of "Power Wagonness" but really not much of it is a Dodge Power Wagon- nor is it supposed to be. I restore a lot of original Power Wagons and love it. My first truck was an M-37. The Legacy is super cool, but it is a custom truck. Not everyone is going to like it. A agree with you about the Chevy motors, but current production Mopars don't fit very well- the Hemi's are wide compared to the LS. They also lack in technology and horsepower. So, for now, I offer the LS for those looking for big power- and boy does it delivery. A Legacy with 500hp and 40 tires is quite a ride. BTW, while I offer the LS- ost customers go with Diesel. The LS allows me to get into the California market- because it is OBDII and CARB certified. The hemi does not. When motor brings out a modern, big power, V-8 that fits nicely, I'll be the first to install it- and no the 360 does not count as modern. I do intend to start offering some cool parts for hobbyiests this year- they will come with directions so even Glen can understand how they work (ha! ha!). My main goal is working out a wiper that doesn't suck! Have a great weekend and call or email if you need any OEM parts. -Winslow
