They have no sense if personal responsibility or stewardship. It is taught in the public schools these days where there are bell curve grading and no scores on baseball. It is taught that everyone is equal hence group punishment.
We had a guy in Army basic training that shouldn't have been there. couldn't feed himself, brush his teeth , make bed, etc. The drill Sargent told us to get him in shape or we would all suffer And I refused to go along with it thinking this guy would never have my back when we hit combat. As it turned out a Vietnam vet saw what was going on and and made him eat his chow in a covered dumpster so he didn't mess up the chow hall. Last time I saw him.
