I hate the term "ratting " you are not ratting them out , you would be doing the right thing . I have delt with this at school , in one case the kid new who had broken into his house , he did not turn them in because it would be "ratting " same thing with an assault and in discussion most students would not rat out a rapist .
That said we were sending cash down to some folks in the USA . They have lost everything , hubby no workie but the wife manages to just keep the family above water . No food stamps or assistance from the Government . They are now doing a bit better and have a little more work .
