a name than be accused of being someone who has any attachment to the political government of the United States. Besides, this post has absolutely nothing to do with that subject.

Also, not everyone can afford even the "multitude of $800 Power Wagons" (I'm paraphrasing) out there. Yes, there were tons of them manufactured from 1946 to 1979. They also WEIGH tons, which means they can bring that much at the scrap yard to someone who doesn't know or care about them. I've already had numerous people ask about if they could scrap my two parts trucks when I'm through with them. My answer- absolutely not. I'd rather trade them to someone who actually will keep them. $800 equals a parts truck. Solid ones demand a heck of a lot more than that. I paid eight times that for mine, and it's rough around the edges.

It also will do almost nil as far as reproduction parts are concerned. Nobody will tool up for a Power Wagon part if it comes from a Chevrolet in the first place. The only hope for us is that a few conversion parts might be introduced to help us with age-old ponderances.

Being a Power Wagon owner gives me great pride, because it took a lot of work and sacrifice to be able to afford mine. I'm poor, and lower class. I don't need to see some arrogant, materialistic individual drop down a week's pay for something he didn't have to crawl under to get going, them parade around as if he cares as much as we do about our trucks that we gladly work on ourselves. If you can afford one, good for you. I'll take my jalopy and the blood, sweat and tears I've proudly put into it and enjoy my truck as my buddy, not my latest addition to my exotic car collection.
