Charles Talbert says to use straight weight 50 engine oil in the PW tranny. I have heard from more than one source that 50 engine is equal to 90 gear oil "weight" wise.
I have done so for over a year and it shifts/operates very nicely.
I use 85-140 in the TC due to its tendency to leak.
