Around here, Ziggy's is always advertising cheap pole barns. It's a teaser price but in this week's ad it's $5820 for a 24x24 pole barn garage installed, $3497 for the kit. These are about as cheap as you can go and still meet code, and of course it assumes flat ground and doesn't include concrete work or any insulation, electrical or plumbing. Usually they advertise prices on the larger sizes too, but not this week. If you figure the $10/sq ft price holds at larger sizes, your 30x30 would come in at $9000. Lumber is probably cheaper here, but steel is high everywhere these days.
