Repost: need help on gen1 cummins tps

well I tried messing with my tps sensor again today. finally got a vmeter, i figured the white is 5v power and black is ground. the orange (center wire) is suppose to have .6 to 1.2v instead it has 5volts? I no longer have OD, I did before when i tired adjusting the shift points, but when I did I forgot to do multipule runs so the computer can catch up. is it possible i burned out the tps? or can it still be fixed with the 10mm wrench n voltmeter?
