I've collected pre-1950s radios since I was 16 and have around 10 now ranging from table top to large floor models. About half work and the other half need some repair. I collect them with the intent to make them my hobby when I retire. They certainly fit in with a Power Wagon decor and memories of simpler times.
Good luck finding some. Beware of the knockoffs. There are a number of good web sites and surprisingly parts aren't as hard to find as you would expect.
