As a general rule, the cover, disk, and bearing are replaced together. You don't have to do that, you can replace single components. The risk is failure of the old part shortly after assembly and use, requiring disassembly again with possible damage to the new parts. If you don't mind the risk and rework, that's an option that may be cheap now, but more expensive later.
