And speaking of winchs, went to a old engine show today (steam and gas) as I was coming in I see a braden winch sitting on the back of a trailer of a fellow in the flea market section. when I got to look at it, it didn't look quite right and I couldn't figure out why. then I saw a tag on the bottom, the tag said The braden winch co. 8000lbs MADE IN JAPAN. I thought to myself HUH? the casting wasn't as good, but other than that it was pretty much a spittin' image of the winch on the front of my truck. first one I'd seen, is it worth anything? Dave.
