Were you having 2nd gear Problems? I bought a truck a couple years ago that you couldn't shift into 2nd (NP435) It turned out that the two piece clip that holds 2nd to the main shaft was broken.I replaced the broken clip and fished the old clip out the PTO cover.Problem solved...
