the reality is that we have charles talbert and guys like renato who can build what you want in a truck brand that we like. i was amazed at the quality of the work he did on that green truck you were working on. if i had my pick, i'd have a shop like renato finish up that crew cab ffpw body you have and then send it to charles talbert for a custom powertrain build. i'd have to have a discussion with him about the numbers of lights, bells and whistles and holes he puts in his dashboards, but his work is top notch. i'd end up with exactly what i want, but to your point, it wouldn't be my 2010 diesel megacab and i wouldn't drive it every day. you'd have 100k into a a toy to make it my way and you'd still get water on your leg when it rains! truth be told, i'd like to have my command car, a fully rigged modern unimog and my megacab. i'm 2/3 there. not bad.
