With the factory gearing you probably wouldn’t notice any difference in the torque or fuel consumption between using a LA 318 or 360. It must be noted that the 360 is externally balanced with the flywheel. You will need to obtain the proper flywheel or have a more common 318/340 0 balance part milled to proper counterweight. I also would stay Mopar if at all possible, turns my stomach to see a Bowtie in one of these trucks..sackralege..ugh!
