I knew they were crushing perfectly good trucks, but I recently saw an LDT-465 multifuel engine for sale that was "demilitarized" with holes torched in the turbo and the flywheel. What the h--- is going on? Now a 60-year-old engine design is secret military technology?

I've noticed the last couple times I checked Government Liquidation that pretty much all they sell these days is used furniture, household junk, a few overpriced parts for weird things that nobody has, trailers, wire, and scrap metal, but torching diesel engines and crushing trucks? Where does this idiocy come from? How about they just have us pay our income taxes in dollar bills and they have a big bonfire on the White House lawn? This is worse than cash for clunkers and the economic stimulus wheel chair ramps. I used to think this country had a good ten years left before it totally disintegrated but now I'd give it less than five.

Half the people in this town are on the dole, but that's nothing compared to the dole that the big military contractors are on. How long can we keep burning money like this before the Arabs and the Chinamen cut off our credit? I really don't want to be around to see what happens when the dole stops, both the lazy bum dole and the corporate fat cat bailout and military contractor dole. I really want to vote Republican next year but I listen to the presidential candidates and the only one who's both honest and has half a brain is Ron Paul and he doesn't have a chance.

Okay, now that my blood pressure is up, I'm going to go back over the hill and pull that blown M37 motor (maybe I should say I "demilitarized" it) and see if my moose is still around.
