I can assure you that teachers and teaching is not the same today as it was in years past. I'm 44 with a 9yr old son who has maintained a A-B average throughout school,no credit to his teachers ! I assure you. Except for the 1st grade, I have had problems with all these so called teachers who try to speak to me in an arrogant(I'm the teacher) attitude when I'm old enough to be their parent. I assume you, your wife,or some other relative are teachers and they themselves maybe good teacher material but most teachers today are a product of their culture which I assure you had video games and were the same little smart-assed video gaming moronic children you claim ours to be!Their teachers had to put up with them and now their getting a taste of what they gave everyone else in school and depending on how well they deal with todays kids, will determine possibly how they deal with the next generation that comes along. I see the problem as a simple case of imaturity. We put young imature teachers in charge of our children and expect them to teach without the maturity or patience to deal with them on the human level.Children are not machines who can be dictated to but, must be taught ,which cannot be done by young, imature, and impatient teachers.
We tend to give these same teachers total say and benefit of the doubt over our kids without real safeguards and performance evaluation measures to weed out incompetent teachers. But here's a question for you.....
Do teachers have trouble with your little smart-assed video gaming moronic children ?
