Incredible.

I know of folks getting tickets for impeding traffic by driving slower and refusing to make way by using pullouts. But for driving the speed limit?

I'd have a field day with that one. If one specifies an appealable traffic violation trial, then the court sets up a recorder for a transcr1pt so you can appeal the finding. W/o the recording, you cannot appeal.

Perhaps this is a new method to get old trucks, like PW's and M37's, off the road, since in stock trim they can't get above 45 mph.

We do have the "basic speed rule" here. Regardless of the speed limit, if you drive too fast for conditions, you can get a ticket for speeding. Like doing 55 mph in a 55 mph speed zone on an icy, foggy road.

As for discourteous drivers, yes, they abound. I did find that whenever I went out in the country, I had fewer tailgaters and idiots pestering me than in the city. Especially when my short barreled side-by-side 12ga was in the window rack.
