Yes, Wood can be sandblasted. I've done many sandblasted wood signs using mostly end grain redwood. Only thing to look out for is glass beads will furrow out softer wood, making wood splinters which catch in funnel at bottom of blast cabinet(If you're using cabinet). Makes nice interesting grain effect even on pine or plywood. Particle board blasts nice too. I had '60 WM300 and sold it last June, but still check into forum daily. Bill Zavatsky DuBois, PA.
