A wonderfull bit of insite!Do I detect a bit of sarcasim?I had a massey ferguson tractor that had what we called a groud pto drive that only turned when the tractor wheels where turning. That said I think you have convinced me that what I saw 20 years ago and what I thought I saw may be two different things.I had not thought of a 6x6 driving off the transfercase with a seperate shaft. So you must be correct about the use of the tranny pto to power to the rear but if you had a winch in front you would drive that shaft all the while you were running your stationary equipment.I am sure these trucks have been set up in ways good and bad that even you or I could not imagine. And thank you for the info about the monroe three point hitch.I did some creative searching this afternoon and had some suprisingly good results.I will let you know if I come up with a unit.
