look in the rv and offroad magazines for the pintle hitches with the multiple ball settings. the balls have a pin to hold them in place on the pintle. need to change the size, pop the pin out, put the ball on. it is possible that the 4 holes on the frame could be used to mount a 2' receiver. the mitusubshi monteros 90s versions had a plate with 4 holes that had a receiver tube with gusseting welded on. the plate was bolted to the 4 holes on the chassis and the ball and tube was attached with the standard pin. this setup would keep your truck unmodified. in addition, you could swap out the ball or the receiver mounted pintle for a lunette ring, a rear winch or a place to use a high lift jack. i bought a pintle hitch with a 2" ball for my m37. it bolted up with a little grinding on the bottom of the pintle u shape. hope this helped
