The M37 was made from 1950 to 1954 and from 1958 to 1968 (skipping a year, 1960 I think - I don't have my handy TM-1840C book with me). The 1958 to 1968 run were the B1 models.

Why so many 53's? Coincidence. For a long time I saw few 51's, then a bunch turned up. I have a 51, 52 & 54.

The one piece wheel issue is being discussed over on the M37 forum at Bigelectric right now. Folks are giving Snake River 4X4 their input, as he's considering making them. Use Joe's link at the top of the page to get there and put your two cents in as to what you'd like to see for a one piece rim.

As for the all synchro transmission, I hear so many conflicting stories I'd like to have an expert get this straight once and for all. Some say ALL M37 transmissions were non-synchro in 1st & 2nd gear, others say the later ones were non-synchro only in 1st gear. And others disagree with both statements.
