Use 2 aluminum blocks- the thicker, the better.One fits carb, one fits manifold.Use gaskets for patterns.Saw on a wood cutting bandssaw, drill on drillpress, die grind or file to match internal passages. It has to be a good match-must flow smoothly, something the off the off-the-shelf ones don't pay attention to.(a good demonstration is to blow thru a spark plug boot, turn around and blow the other way- use aclean one or people will wonder what you bin kissing, they probly know you're in love with your truck- Feel the difference in pressure caused by the little step inside?)
Drill for whatever bolt pattern suits you for bolting the 2 pieces together- counter bore for socket head machine screws,get to work on linkage and fuel line.
