This isn't really a auction, it's by sealed bid. most departments do this so some one can't try to drive the price up. the bids won't be opened until they go to drill that night. when Chief Stella called me to tell me that i had just bought the Blak Forest truck he also told me that some one had called him and offered to pay him 50 dollars more than the highest bid, he said no it had to be fair to everyone.
